CostInflation Plugin Privacy

The plugin receives the search terms, public category and area identifiers, quantities and comparison dates sent when its tools are used. These inputs are processed in memory to return requested aggregate analysis. CostInflation does not save baskets, conversation text, query histories or user profiles, and the plugin uses no cookies, advertising or analytics scripts.

Hosting providers process network information, including IP addresses, to deliver and protect requests. Application and edge request logging are disabled. Bounded local service status logs exclude tool inputs and response bodies and are retained for up to seven days. Aggregate cache counts help operate the service. This information is not sold or used to target advertising.

We use hosting and security providers for service delivery, and rely on our legitimate interest in operating a secure service. Providers may process information outside your country; applicable transfer safeguards apply where required. ChatGPT processes your conversation under OpenAI's own policies. Following a link to the CostInflation website uses its website privacy policy.

Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing, and complain to a local data-protection authority.
